Last week, we started exploring just what our Ideal Writing Day would look like on paper. Setting aside practicalities, we played and dreamed like kids in order to create a detailed written account of our perfect writing day. This week, we look at how we can create a vision board (like the one I made above) to capture our Ideal Writing Day and so get in touch even more deeply with our creative dreams.

I’m a big fan of vision boards, not only as maps which can lead to real change, but as visual reminders of what and who we are which can keep us strong, even when life gets hectic and crazy! Vision boarding is an extra element I’ve added as part of the video series. but you can read more about creating an Ideal Writing Day in The Hectic Writer’s Handy Workbook.

I hope you find this video helpful – if you’d like to share your vision boards, I’d love to see them! You can email me or you can share them on social media using the #hecticwriters hashtag or you can join the Hectic Writers Facebook group.

You can also chat to me about your Ideal Writing Day by booking a free 30 minute ‘Writing Breakthrough‘ coaching session or if you want someone to work with you more deeply on creating your ideal writing life, have a look at my coaching and mentoring packages.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you all come up with!

Next Friday, we’ll start to look at the important information your Ideal Writing Day offers and begin to consider how to take small, gentle steps towards making your vision for your writing life a reality.
